Purpose of this policy
TempMail Cloud provides receive-only inboxes for legitimate privacy, verification and authorised testing. This policy protects users, senders, receiving domains and infrastructure from misuse. It applies to guests, registered users, shared-inbox visitors and anyone interacting with the service.
Allowed uses
Reasonable uses include separating low-risk sign-ups from a primary inbox, receiving an email OTP or confirmation link, testing software you own or are authorised to test, and organising project-specific incoming email.
Prohibited activity
You must not use TempMail Cloud to facilitate fraud, phishing, impersonation, harassment, account takeover, spam, malware, copyright infringement, illegal goods or services, or unauthorised access. You must not use automation to exhaust resources, create deceptive accounts, evade another service's eligibility rules, bypass rate limits or interfere with another user.
Sensitive and high-risk accounts
Do not use a temporary inbox as the only recovery address for banking, healthcare, government, payroll, cryptocurrency, legal records or any irreplaceable account. Use a permanent provider with strong recovery controls for those purposes.
Shared inbox responsibility
A shared link grants limited access to received messages. Mailbox owners must share links only with intended recipients, revoke access when it is no longer needed and avoid exposing private or regulated information. A shared visitor may not change the password, delete the mailbox or claim ownership.
Enforcement
We may rate-limit, suspend or remove sessions, accounts, mailboxes, messages, sharing links or domains when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect infrastructure or comply with law. We may preserve limited evidence and cooperate with service providers or authorities where legally required.
Report misuse
Use the Contact page and select Report abuse. Include the mailbox or receiving domain, sender, subject and approximate time. Do not send a password, active OTP or unrelated personal information. Our Safety guide, Privacy Policy and Terms provide additional details.
