If a website explicitly says it does not allow temporary email, use an address permitted by that website or ask its support team what it accepts. Refreshing TempMail Cloud or creating more inboxes cannot change the sender's policy. We do not offer an "undetectable" domain or guaranteed acceptance.
Identify the kind of rejection
| Where you see the problem | What it may mean | Useful next step |
|---|---|---|
| "Disposable email not allowed" on signup | An explicit address-policy restriction | Use a permitted address or contact that website |
| "Enter a valid email" before submission | A formatting error or a policy expressed vaguely | Check the full address, then ask the sender if it still fails |
| "Code sent" but nothing arrives | Delivery may be delayed, filtered or rejected elsewhere | Follow missing OTP checks |
| Inbox access fails on TempMail Cloud | A mailbox/session problem | Use inbox recovery |
One missing email does not prove the entire domain is blocked. Conversely, an address appearing on our active domain list does not prove that every sender accepts it.
Do not confuse custom names with custom policy
Choosing another name before @ changes the mailbox identity. It does not turn a receive-only domain into a full personal provider or require a website to accept it. A private domain assigned to an account also does not guarantee third-party approval.
Use temporary addresses where the sender's rules permit them. Do not rotate domains to evade a ban, bypass an account limit or claim repeated offers. Our acceptable-use rules apply to generated and bulk inboxes alike.
An example of the right escalation
Suppose a design platform rejects your address before it offers a verification code. You can give its support team the visible error and ask whether a durable personal mailbox is required. There is no delivery event for TempMail Cloud to retrieve if the platform never sent a message.
If instead the platform says it sent a message, record the recipient and request time. Its support team can inspect whether the send was accepted, deferred or refused. TempMail Cloud support can separately investigate the receiving side. Those are different investigations; neither requires sharing an active code.
When a lasting inbox is the better choice
Use a durable full mailbox for paid subscriptions you need to recover, banking, identity, healthcare and ongoing support conversations. TempMail Cloud cannot send replies or replace those recovery arrangements. The Gmail comparison explains the practical tradeoffs.
